The Asian Institute of Gemological Sciences (AIGS), founded in 1978, is Thailand's first gemology school, located in Bangkok's Jewelry Trade Center. It offers an Accredited Gemologist (A.G.) diploma, short courses, and has over 15,000 global graduates. AIGS also houses Asia's first professional gemological lab, specializing in colored gemstone identification and grading.
